Day-by-day itinerary
Drive times are approximate. Every tour is private, so we can change the order, add rest days or extend it.
Day 1: Airport to Galle
Pickup at the airport and drive south on the expressway to Galle (about 2.5 hours). Walk the fort and watch the sunset from the ramparts.
Day 2: Unawatuna beach
A free day at Unawatuna. Snorkelling, Jungle Beach and the Japanese Peace Pagoda are all close by.
Day 3: Koggala and Mirissa
Stilt fishermen at Koggala, a boat ride on Koggala Lake, and whale watching from Mirissa in season (boats leave around 6:30am).
Day 4: Return to the airport
Morning on the beach, then drive back to the airport (about 2.5–3 hours).
